The Nursing Computer Lab Coordinator is available to assist students in their learning. As well, our peer mentoring program allows nursing students to assist their peers with learning. Peer Mentors are 3rd or 4th year nursing students who are hired into the lab based on recommendations by Clinical Instructors. Peer Mentors are available at select times daily to assist students with skill practice.

ASN  Provides excellent laboratory facilities for basic learning within Maternal and Child Health Sciences Comprising latest articles and equipments. This laboratory is where student learn the basic skills of maternity and child health nursing prior to exposure to the clinical area. The lab contains various obstetrical charts related to antenatal, intranasal and postnatal care, including models to practice the conduct of labour . It also includes baby mannequins to practice nursing procedures, growth charts, and immunization schedules and play materials for different age group. The aim of the MCH lab is to achieve excellence in basic and applied teaching relating to child health and obstetrics & gynecology.

Fundamental of Nursing lab is a patient simulator. Nursing is an art and science that needs a lot of practice. The fundamental of nursing lab is the practical area of the students, where they perform all nursing procedures prior to the exposure to the clinical field. The faculty uses the lab for various demonstrations of procedures in nursing. This spacious laboratory is well equipped with patient simulator, cardio-pulmonary resuscitation mannequin, life form hand simulation, etc. in addition to the facilities in pn ideal ward situation.
There are 4 manikins in the lab for human simulation use by faculty to teach students how to administer care to patients. All the manikins are laid on the bed with appropriate pedicel equipment attached to them. Fundamental lab is designed for use as a tool for teaching psychomotor ski JIs and cognitive and critical thinking pathways. Fundamental of nursing lab offers the ability to provide simulation education to challenge and test students clinical and decision-making skills during realistic patient care scenarios. Fundamental of Nursing lab is extremely realistic and flexible to meet multi-disciplinary education needs of the nursing students.

ASN has Audio Visual Aid Room is available for students to create their own audio visual aids. Laboratory is equipped with extensive audiovisual equipment to assist in the presentation through, LCD Projector, Slide projector, Film Projector, Video and 35 mm slide images to television, over-head Projector & Epidiascope allows active demonstrations, text or diagrams to be displayed. This ensures that all seating positions in the laboratories are able to view any presentations.

Nutrition laboratory is primarily focused on assessing the in ter play between diet and cardiovascular and other disease risk factors. Lifestyle behaviors, especially diet, can have a significant effect on the risk of developing heart disease. Major components of diet that can potentially alter his risk include type of fat, level of fat, type of protein, individual fatty acids and food-associated compounds. The efforts of the nutrition lab are aimed at developing a better understanding of how diet alters cardiovascular and other disease risk factors, especially in other women and men. The Nutrition laboratory is where the students learn to prepare normal and therapeutic diet. Students learn to prepare different types of exhibits for health education related to Nutrition and diet therapy. Under the guidance of a qualified dietitian, they learn to prepare normal diet and therapeutic diet for various disease conditions without losing nutrients. Students also use this lab to prepare different types of exhibits required to conduct various health educational Programs.

It is equipped with various models, specimens, dummies, bones, charts, and mannequins where normal birth processes and procedures commonly done in the labour rooms are learnt.

This laboratory is equipped with latest articles and equipment and is used by students to practice bag technique required for family health care and prepare the materials needed for health education, school health program me, health camps, exhibitions and projects. CHN lab focuses on principles and methods of community health nursing , roles and responsibility of the nurse in the community and the development and community service management community administration principle, primary health care health nursing experience is provide to the students in government health centers, concerning survey, health problem analysis, and solving community health promotion and prevention services, school health service, sanitation and environmental service. Health teaching and educational visit to various health agencies are provided. Adequate transportation facilities are also available.

ASN has one of the best Anatomy and Physiology lab in the Region, equipped with complete range of models, charts, right amount of written text, and contains very good illustrations, photos to provide better understanding of the to its students. Anatomy & Physiology laboratory is in a clear and concise way, while maintaining a student friendly tone. The lab is very interactive and contains activities and experiment that enhance student’s ability to both visualize anatomical structures and understand physiological topics. Lab exercises are designed to require students to first apply information they learned and then to critically evaluate it. All lab exercises will be intended to promote group learning and to offer learning experiences for all learners. The lab exercises are also written so as to be easily adapted by the students.

ASN is housed in a beautifully designed and constructed Multipurpose Hall. All classrooms and Lecture halls are equipped with modern teaching aid and provided with comfortable and conducive environment for learning and assimilation according to I.N.C norms. Separate well furnished and fully equipped rooms for lectures and seminars B.Sc.(N) , GNM. (N) Course is available..

The hostel is clean and comfortable, and each room is provided with adequate facilities for stay and study. The campus has a vast 1-acre playground, which is ideal for playing cricket, football and kabaddi and conducting track events. The playground also gives students ample scope for physical exercise. An indoor recreation hall located within the institute provides facilities for games such as carom, chess, etc. Students are also encouraged to participate actively in cultural activities and competitions.

We have full-fledged transport department to manage a fleet of transport facilities for ease commutation of students, staff and faculties. Currently operates three deluxe buses to enable easy commutation of students from college to adopted hospitals.

In the college campus there is a chapel where the students attend holy mass, pray the rosary and spend time in silent prayer which is very essential in the life of human beings. It helps the students to achieve knowledge as well as spiritual growth.
